Little Things |
Yep, definitely little things! I'd like to add cat hair, Valium, and loose keyboard keys to the list.
ReplyDeleteI need a lot of little bags to hold them.
DeleteI think I have almost all of those wedge inbetween my sofa cushions.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's where I came up with the idea. The rest were in my sofa.
DeleteI don't know Wayne Szalinski personally so I'll just have to take your word for it.
ReplyDeleteNow that I've Googled it, don't you mean his kids?
Well, in the classic film it was the kids. But in the straight to video third film, it was Wayne himself.
DeleteBacteria is listed twice. You could always replace one with a thumbtack. Not literally, of course. Don't try to stick a thumbtack into your screen. It won't end well. Trust me.
ReplyDeleteBacteria gets in everywhere and takes over everything.
DeleteOops, I stopped reading after the second sentence.
how about ticks? nasty little things... ah yes- covered by "insects"
ReplyDeleteI used insects so I wouldn't repeat myself.
DeleteI will take ticks from you though. Er, I mean, ticks is a good addition.
Hey Shawn! What about orecchiette? Cute little ear-shaped pasta! I can't believe you missed it! Indigo
ReplyDeleteYou can't believe I missed it?!
DeleteI can't believe nobody told me about orecchiette before? Wow! Another way to eat pasta.
Did you ever turn your bike upside down as a kid and turn the wheel really fast as you held the little green army men against it? So satisfying to watch them melt. One of the little things we so enjoyed as kids... yes, we were kind of warped.
ReplyDeleteI never tried that. But I will tomorrow. With my wife's bike. And my green army men.
DeleteDefinitely a lot of little things there. What about a pint of beer? It's little. Well compared to those big mugs you get in Germany. OK, ok... I see... technicality.
ReplyDeleteNo, P.J. you have something there. Why else would I drink three or four pints in one sitting if they weren't little? Excellent point.
DeleteItsy bitsy teeny weenie yellow polka-dot bikini. You must not be old enough to remember that. Sorry. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteActually, I commend this idea to The House!
DeleteI wasn't around when it was first released in 1960 but I did have it on my Goofy Greats LP.
DeleteThis is FANTASTIC! I had SUCH a hard time with this one... yours is PERFECT and so well thought out!
ReplyDeleteThanks Katherine. Perfect except that I left off anchovies. Stupid anchovies.
DeleteIsn't it weird how you have a big list of little things?
ReplyDeleteTrust me. It was much bigger. This is the little part.
DeleteYou threw me off with pumpkin seeds. I saw "pumpkin", and I thought to myself, "Ah ha! There's the fatal flaw of the list!" And then I completed the thought by reading the second word, "seeds". Well played. Your list of small things seems pretty complete.
ReplyDeletePumpkins are little as compared to elephants.
DeleteThat's a good list of little things.
ReplyDeletepollen
sand
salt
sesame seeds
peppercorns
are just a few that come to mind.
A fresh take on today's prompt.
:) Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens, brown paper packages tied up with strings,
DeleteThese are a few more little things
