Boom Boom Out Go The Lights

I am participating in the 30 day photo challenge as sponsored by Ziva and Mike. Today is Day 30. Today's theme by coincidence is blackout. With hurricane Sandy hitting everyone on the eastern seaboard of North America, and several hundred miles inland, with millions of people without power... strange coincidence that this theme would fall today.
With the power out, and only by the light of the moon did I capture my sleeping girlfriend snuggled up to her pillow.
Blackout

    1. Thanks. And not only that, she was fast asleep and didn't know I took her photo.

  3. It took some staring but I found her. You could have run this when the theme was stalker cause that's what I'm feeling right now.

    1. Duf, you are only a stalker if that image is taken through the keyhole or the window.
So please don't do that again.

  5. I'm glad this was your girlfriend and not some random Dufus, er... I mean, individual.

  6. But of course it was at her house, you were just dropping by and happened upon her sleeping... HA HA HA!

What a great idea... I love how you tell what is in the picture... it made me really look, concentrate and appreciate it!

  7. The sad thing is that I totally recognize your girlfriend. But only in this light, with that pillow.

    *cough*

Uhm, thanks for joining in the fun, if belatedly, Shawn.

    1. Thanks Mike. And could you be a little quieter when you are sneaking around? I'm a light sleeper.

  8. HA!!!

NJ is an absolute mess. Things are really bad. We have no power, no television, no radio, no internet, no landlines, no cell phone service, no texts, no emails, no form of communication whatsoever - nothing.

And the roads are awful. Trees & power lines are down, blocking streets, no traffic lights work...ect.

We probably won't have power for at least a week.

Luckily I was able to escape NJ with my son and and we made it to PA safely, to my brothers house where we have POWER and INTERNET and SHOWERS. Thank fuck.

    1. I am happy you are safe and dry Meleah. My bro-n-law is holed up in Hoboken. Safe. But soaked.
